According to the USG's there was a 3.9 earthquake today on Hawaii, it is minor earthquake, but people are on guard after the recent tsunami in Indonesia and subsequent Volcanic activity.
Both Hawaii and Indonesia are located in the so-called “Rim of Fire” which is part of the Pacific Rim that has a lot of seismic activity takesplace each and every year.
Hawaii had a tsunami this year after the Chile earthquake, which did not result in widespread damage.
So far, there are no reports of injuries, widespread damage, or casualties. We will keep you up to date with the 2010 Hawaii earthquake updates.

29 Dead at New Zealand Mine
All 29 miners trapped underground in a New Zealand mine are dead, the official in charge of a the rescue attempt said Wednesday on the country's South Island after a five-day rescue effort failed. During the rescue attempt, air released from drilling into the mine contained high levels of carbon monoxide and methane but little oxygen, according to police officials.
The tragedy represents New Zealand's worst mining accident in the last 100 years and is likely to be followed by an in-depth government-led inquiry into its causes and safety across the industry. The disaster comes as a blow to a local community that depended upon the mine for jobs and income, with many families in the area affected.
The 29 men, ages 17 to 62, had been missing since Friday, when an explosion ripped through the Greymouth mine. Most of the miners are from New Zealand, but the group also includes Scotlanders and South Africans.
The missing men are believed to have been spread throughout the mine, with perhaps half trapped in one area.Whittall and Knowles reiterated that potentially explosive gases in the collapsed mine have rendered a rescue attempt unsafe so far.
"It's just too dangerous. You can't put the lives of the guys going underground at risk," Whittall said.
Late Tuesday, officials showed family members and reporters a closed-circuit television video of the mine's entrance during Friday's blast. The minute-long video shows dust flying and a white screen flapping back and forth before it is blown out of the tunnel.

Jailbreak of iOS 4.2.1 has been tested on iPhone 4 and can confirm that it works. Though Cydia wont work just yet because Apple has changed some of the private APIs used by Cydia in iOS 4.2.x because of which Cydia crashes when you try to run. The good news is that an iOS 4.2.1 compatible version of Cydia is ready and will go live as soon as iOS 4.2.1 is released to public. Also since you have full root access on the device, you can install jailbreak-apps via SSH for now until the new version of Cydia is live.

Tab Stacking has been added to the latest beta roll-out which happened today as a way of dealing with tens or hundreds of open browser tabs.According to Opera’s Desktop Team:

The feature will come in handy for those who tend to have a lot of tabs opened at the same time. With tab stacking, users can save tabs for later use or organize them into categories, saving space on the tab bar.
Opera already has the most versatile tab management features among desktop browsers. Users can expand the tab bar to see tabs as thumbnails, open a private tab that leaves no browsing information behind and manage closed tabs.
Extra features of note in Opera 11 include further support for extensions, HTML5 and visual mouse gestures, as well as an improved way of auto-update system, a new e-mail panel and the usual array of bug squashes and optimizations.

The way the system works is that the application is installed on the iPhone and can be found using another iOS 4.2 device. The located iPhone will be displayed on a map in order to find the physical location. Once located, a message can be sent to the device to be played or even have the iPhone play a sound for two minutes.
Even added security will allow users to password lock their phone or even wipe out the data from the other iOS 4.2 device. Support for 30 additional languages

Dynegy Buyout Likely to Fail, CEO Says
Dynegy Inc. said it plans to again seek potential alternative buyout proposals and "review carefully " its standalone restructuring options if shareholders don't approve the proposed $604 million takeover by Blackstone Group LP later Tuesday.Bruce Williamson, chairman and chief executive of the power producer, acknowledged in a statement that the plan is likely to be rejected.

MOIL IPO price band
Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL), which is initially give public offer of 33,600,000 equity shares of Rs10 each for sale on November 26 will announce the price band on November 23.
The price band and the minimum bid lot will be decided on November 23 by the company, which would be advertised two working days prior to the opening date, MOIL CMD K J Singh told reporters here today.
He said the offer comprises a net offer to the public of 32,928,000 equity shares and 6,72,000 equity shares reserved for subscription by eligible employees.
The offer will close on November 30 for qualified institutional buyers and on December 1 for retail and non-institutional bidders.Disinvestment Secretary of the Government of India Sumit Bose said MOIL will be the fifth company during the current fiscal to offer IPO and 50th company to be listed in the stock market.
This year the government has so far raised Rs 21,000 crores from four earlier IPOs, including Rs 15,000 crores from Coal India.
There are 276 public sector undertakings but all are not worth disinvestments. Therefore, only those companies cleared by the Union Cabinet will go for disinvestments.Shipping Corporation, Steel Authority and ONGC are other companies to complete formalities for IPOs before the end of the current financial year, Bose added.
