According to the USG's there was a 3.9 earthquake today on Hawaii, it is minor earthquake, but people are on guard after the recent tsunami in Indonesia and subsequent Volcanic activity.
Both Hawaii and Indonesia are located in the so-called “Rim of Fire” which is part of the Pacific Rim that has a lot of seismic activity takesplace each and every year.
Hawaii had a tsunami this year after the Chile earthquake, which did not result in widespread damage.
So far, there are no reports of injuries, widespread damage, or casualties. We will keep you up to date with the 2010 Hawaii earthquake updates.
